How RK Technologies uses the personal data you send through this website, and how you can exercise your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What personal data we collect

Only what you type into our enquiry form:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Company / society name (optional)
  • Site location / area
  • The service and machine type you choose
  • The message you write

We also keep: the date and time of your enquiry, our own follow-up status and notes, and a record that you accepted this notice (with its version). We do not collect Aadhaar, bank or payment details, health data or your exact GPS location.

3. Why we use it (purposes)

  • To reply to your enquiry and call you back
  • To prepare a quotation, arrange a site visit or inspection
  • To plan, perform and follow up erection, commissioning, maintenance or upgrade work
  • To keep a record of your request

We do not send marketing messages, we do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. On what basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the enquiry form. The form only works if you tick it. This website is meant for adults and businesses (age 18+).

5. Who can see or process it

  • Authorised RK Technologies staff and engineers who handle your enquiry.
  • Service providers (“processors”) that help us run the site: Google Firebase (database and login), EmailJS (sends the notification email to us; its servers may be outside India), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the website), Cloudinary (images only; no form data).
  • Government or courts, only if the law requires.

They may only use it to provide their service to us.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted after months from the date of the enquiry. We keep data longer only if you become a customer (for the duration of the contract and the period the law requires for accounts and warranty) or if the law asks us to.

7. Your rights

  • Access – get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who it was shared with.
  • Correction – ask us to correct or update it.
  • Erasure – ask us to delete it.
  • Withdraw consent – at any time, as easily as you gave it (email or phone). Withdrawing does not affect what we did before; we will stop using your data and delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Nominate a person who can exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act.
  • Grievance – complain to us about how your data is handled.

To use any right, write or call our grievance contact: , , . We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example by writing from the same email or phone number). We aim to acknowledge within 3 working days and to resolve within 30 days — and in every case within the 90 days allowed by law.

8. Complaint to the Data Protection Board

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Please contact us first.

9. Children

We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18. If you think a child’s data was submitted, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers. Our fonts are served from our own website. Your browser stores a small amount of data only to make the site faster (cached content for a few minutes) and to prevent accidental double submission of the form for 60 seconds. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security.

11. Security and data breaches

Access to enquiries is limited to a protected admin account, the site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and database rules block public access to stored enquiries. If a personal data breach is likely to affect you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The current version is dated . The version you accepted is saved with your enquiry.
